An
eternal optimist, Jackie has never met a challenge
that she could not turn into an opportunity
for positive change. A Baltimore City resident,
she loves the convenience and joys of urban
living and purchased her home because of its
nearness to a park, stream and trail. She wholeheartedly
believes that parks and the recreation they
foster are critical components to economic development,
neighborhood revitalization and community health.
Prior
to signing on as leader of our happy troupe,
she ran a soup kitchen and outreach center in
Colorado and was a community organizer for Maryland
Save Our Streams. Her finance degree from
Loyola College of Baltimore fine-tuned her innate
critical thinking skills, skills she brings
to bear on all things interesting and challenging.
A wife and mother of three, Jackie feels "blessed
and lucky."
