Ryan grew up in South Florida and moved to Baltimore in 2002 to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art. While he was a student at MICA he served as an art teacher with Parks & People’s SuperKids Camp for three years. He was also very active with the Community Arts Partnership program while a MICA student and is working full-time this year at Parks & People as a Community Arts Organizer. Ryan’s goal for his service year is to integrate a sustainable community arts program into Parks & People’s existing community greening and parks initiatives. Ryan will also work with the Gwynns Falls Trail Council this year in preparation for their annual Art on the Trail exhibition to be held in June 2007.
