Brown Bag Lecture Series: Morgan Park & Wilson Park, Historic African American Neighborhoods

Dale Glenwood Green, assistant professor of Architecture at Morgan State University and chair of the university's historic preservation program will present on Morgan Park & Wilson Park, historic African American neighborhoods. He and his students explored the impact of development of the Morgan State University campus on the adjacent area, and discovered a story of race, place and time of the supposedly "separate but equal" status accorded these Baltimore neighborhoods.
This presentation is part of a brown bag lecture series on Baltimore's history and its personalities presented by Baltimore National Heritage Area and the City of Baltimore, Office of the Mayor.
