Parks & People Receives the Seal of Excellence!

The Parks & People Foundation is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Seal of Excellence by the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations. Certification in the Standards for Excellence program is bestowed only to the most well-managed and responsibly governed nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated compliance with 55 specific Standards for Excellence requirements based on honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, responsibility and accountability. Parks & People has met, complied with, and integrated the Standards into all of its activities to successfully complete this voluntary certification program.

As part of the Standards for Excellence certification program, we here at Parks & People exposed ourselves to a rigorous review of our programs, accomplishments and management practices.
