Public Housing Greening Initiative

Parks & People works with residents and staff from public housing communities including Perkins Homes, Brooklyn Homes, Dukeland Homes and Westport Homes to plant trees and install gardens.

Thanks to the residents’ hard work and guidance from Parks & People staff members, yards of asphalt are slowly giving way to oases of green in Baltimore communities that are often overlooked.
