FAQ

When will I be able to register for SuperKids Camp 2013?
Registration is open NOW! Visit our registration page.

Can I visit my child at SuperKids camp?
Yes! We host open houses at every site and we welcome parent volunteers throughout the summer.

What if my child misses the bus in the morning?
If you are able to drive your child to their campsite, then you can bring them no later than 9:30 a.m.

Is there supervision at the drop off and pick up locations?
SuperKids Camp does not provide supervision for children at drop off locations.

Campers should be escorted to their drop off location and supervised by an adult until the bus arrives in the morning and then met by an adult at the drop off location in the afternoon.

If you want your child to walk home unescorted in the afternoon you must sign a waiver. No child will be left at a drop off location if they are not met by an adult unless there is a waiver on file.

What happens if my child is not met by an adult at the drop off location?
If there is no adult at the drop off location to meet a student then the student will be brought to the Parks & People Foundation offices and you will be called to come and pick them up.

What if the bus is late?
We make every effort for the buses to run on time but things do happen that are out of our control, like traffic. If the bus is running more than 15 minutes late in the morning or afternoon, call the office (410) 662-5846 to let us know. We appreciate your patience.

Is there supervision on the bus?
Yes, there is a bus monitor on every bus.

Are there scholarships to attend SuperKids Camp?
Yes, scholarships are awarded based on financial need. To apply for a scholarship, you must register your child in person and bring proof of income.

Can I choose a camp site for my child?
Sorry, it's not possible for parents to choose a camp site at this time.
