Grants for Park Projects
In cooperation with Baltimore City’s Department of Recreation and Parks, Partnerships for Parks provides resources, training and support to organizations that work to improve their communities through park stewardship. In 2008, the program distributed $100,944 in grant funds to 29 organizations for projects ranging from garden bed improvements and plantings to new fences and benches.
Partnerships for Parks grants are awarded to neighborhood associations, schools, park friends groups, faith-based organizations and other community groups that wish to conduct greening projects in their community and/or improve city parks. Awards range from $500-$5,000
