Live Theater on Parks & People’s campus - Shakespeare Beyond Presents It's The Comedy of Errors, Hon!

Shakespeare Beyond Presents It's The Comedy of Errors, Hon! on Parks & People’s West Baltimore campus

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s, Shakespeare Beyond, brought the arts to Parks & Peoples Campus on Thursday, August 8th! Shakespeare Beyond brings FREE arts and cultural programming into neighborhoods and towns across Baltimore and Maryland—with emphasis on reaching those with limited access to the arts.

Spending time in green spaces offers a wide range of health benefits for communities. Exposure to nature has been shown to improve mood, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. But the benefits go beyond individual health. Green spaces foster stronger communities. They provide safe, welcoming places for neighbors to gather, children to play, and families to connect. They’re also linked to lower crime rates and increased civic engagement.

At Parks & People, we believe every community deserves access to vibrant green spaces. That’s why our campus in Baltimore is more than just a beautiful place—it’s a hub for connection, creativity, and celebration. Whether it’s a theater performance on the lawn, a youth program in the garden, or a neighborhood cookout under the trees, our space is designed to bring people together.
