Support Parks & People through monthly giving

Join Friends of Parks & People, our community of monthly donors! A monthly gift supports Parks & People's continued dedication to improving Baltimore through green space and education. A pledge of as little as $5 a month can make a generation of change in Baltimore City neighborhoods.

The Jonna Lazarus Fund

Donate to support annual operations and the maintenance of Jonna’s Garden. Jonna was a cherished friend and a founding Board Member of Parks & People. As a talented landscape designer, she created dozens of breathtaking gardens across the Baltimore region. Her visionary work laid the groundwork for Parks & People to emerge as a leading nonprofit in green space development and environmental stewardship throughout Baltimore City. We are proud to honor her legacy through the Jonna Lazarus Fund and Jonna’s Garden.

  • Gifts of $500 or more may be eligible to receive a Maryland tax credit equal to 50% of the value of the donation. This is in addition to Federal and State charitable tax deductions!

  • Talk to your employer about setting up payroll deductions. Make sure to take advantage of corporate matching opportunities to double your donation!

    Did you know that employees of Baltimore City, the State of Maryland, the Federal Government and private businesses participating in United Way campaigns can give to Parks & People Foundation through payroll deductions? Just designate Parks & People using the code for your campaign.

  • Naming Parks & People in your will can be a financially responsible way to make a special gift that may not be possible during your lifetime. Bequests can be designated or unrestricted in any amount.
