Beginning in 2019, Parks & People was brought in as a partner to begin visioning around the Hamilton Elementary/Middle School site. This jewel of a schoolyard is an asset for students and the adjacent community, but it needed improvements to better utilize the space. Phase I of site improvements was completed with the installation of a brand-new playground thanks to a partnership with KABOOM! and United Healthcare. We are excited to cut the ribbon on Phase II this December! This project was made possible by our funder and partners, including the Abell Foundation, Senator Cory McCray, Baltimore City Public Schools, Hamilton PTA, The Hackerman Foundation, The Meyerhoff Charitable Family Funds, Floura Teeter, KABOOM!, D.A. Dunlevy, United Healthcare, and the State of Maryland.
